Like many others, I had to make the adjustment to working from home in 2020. From using snack trays as desks to finding the least-cluttered corner for Zoom calls, recreating a work environment in our own personal space was quite a challenge.

I was in South Florida for the first week of December and for obvious reasons, a majority of my time was in spent in quarantine. When it was time to go out, I made it my intention to visit local cafes in Palm Beach County. I’m glad that I did because I discovered some dope spots and because smaller businesses are the most impacted by COVID-19, this gave me a chance to pour back into the community.

I’ve been wanting to take a break from constantly checking a mirror to make sure my lip color is intact so when I found out that Glossier released two new lip glosses that claimed to be long lasting, this boring granny was willing to spice things up.
